Deangelo Alford Arrested for First-Degree Murder in Memphis Shooting

Alford charged in shooting death of man in Orange Mound

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A 20-year-old man, Deangelo Alford, has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection with a shooting that left one man dead last week in the Orange Mound neighborhood.

The shooting occurred late Friday night on Ethel Street, located off Park Avenue and Airways Boulevard. Memphis Police Department (MPD) confirmed that Alford was acquainted with the victim.

Alford was taken into custody and has been charged with first-degree murder. Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
