Two Arrested in Malden Home Invasion; Firearms Charges Filed

MALDEN, Massachusetts — Two suspects have been arrested following a home invasion in Malden on April 1. Yaritza Trinidad, 29, from Cambridge, and Chawki Charbel Ibrahim, 24, from Boston, have been charged with home invasion and firearms offenses after allegedly breaking into a residence on Mountain Avenue.

Malden police were called to the scene on April 1 when reports indicated that two people had forcibly entered a home and attacked someone inside. Authorities canvassed the area, discovering a firearm and obtaining descriptions of the suspects.

By Saturday, both Trinidad and Ibrahim were in custody, with investigators confirming that this was a targeted attack. They assured the public that there is no further danger. The two suspects face serious charges, including home invasion and firearms-related offenses.
