On Wednesday, three individuals, including a woman, were arrested in Bhopal for their involvement in the drug supply trade. The accused, Rewaram from Ahirkhedi, Sangeeta from Ganesh Vihar, and Sadik Khan from Pandharinath, were arrested under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (PITNDPS Act).
According to Additional DCP (Zone-4) Anand Yadav, these individuals were engaged in the illegal drug trade in their respective areas. Following their arrests, the police filed a case under section 3(1) of the PITNDPS Act, and a report was sent to the divisional commissioner for further action.
