BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) — Birmingham Police have arrested Sherman James Rountree, 32, in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred on April 27.
Rountree was taken into custody on Wednesday, May 7, following an investigation into the homicide of Richard Alexander Wilson Jr.. Based on gathered evidence, the Jefferson County Magistrate’s Office issued a murder warrant for Rountree.
He is currently being held in the Jefferson County Jail with no bond.
