In a major breakthrough, Shahkot police have arrested Kuldeep Singh, a proclaimed offender (PO) from Malsian village, who had been absconding for the last eight years. Kuldeep was wanted in a robbery case registered back in 2017, and had been evading law enforcement ever since.
In a separate operation, the Bilga police apprehended another PO, Mandeep Singh Bhura, who was wanted in connection with a murder attempt case. Both arrests come as part of ongoing efforts by Punjab Police to track down long-absconding offenders and bring them to justice.
Police officials confirmed that further legal proceedings have been initiated and that both individuals will be produced in court.
