ATHENS, Ohio — Savannah Chapman, 27, was arrested after detectives from the Athens County Drug Task Force uncovered a significant drug operation at her residence on Willow Creek Road.

Authorities executed a search warrant at 12:45 p.m. on April 29 and discovered large quantities of suspected LSD and psilocybin, a firearm, and substantial amounts of cash. Additionally, detectives found clear signs of illegal drug manufacturing within the home.

Chapman, who was present during the search, now faces four felony charges: two counts of drug possession, one count of illegal manufacturing of drugs, and one count of possessing a weapon under disability.

“This case underscores the evolving complexity of drug crimes in our community,” said the Athens County Sheriff’s Office. “We are focused on dismantling illegal drug operations from production to distribution.”

Chapman is currently in custody as the investigation continues.
