Sammy D. Nash Charged With 9 Felony Child Endangerment Counts

Ohio Man Accused of Causing Severe Injuries to Infant

SCIOTO COUNTY, OHIO (WSAZ) — Sammy D. Nash, 54, of New Boston, Ohio, has been charged with nine counts of felony child endangerment following an investigation into severe injuries sustained by a 9-month-old child, authorities said.

Investigation and Arrest
According to Scioto County Sheriff David Thoroughman, investigators discovered the infant had suffered multiple unexplained injuries, including broken bones and a black eye. The child’s mother, Kayla Williams, has also been arrested in connection with the case.

Authorities removed the injured infant and two other children from the home, and the infant was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Legal Proceedings
Nash is currently being held in the Scioto County Jail without bond. Investigators continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the case.
