Three individuals, Raju Baliram Tompe (41), Babu George (50), and Pramod Tezi (from Pune), were arrested on Monday (17th) for operating an illegal gambling racket in Rahatani. The police investigation revealed that Raju and Babu were responsible for accepting bets related to Kalyan and Time Bazar betting games in the area. They would send the betting details to Pramod, who was allegedly coordinating the illegal activity.
Law enforcement officials confiscated gambling-related materials worth Rs20,440 during the crackdown. The police are continuing their investigation into the matter, aiming to uncover further details of the gambling operations.
