Raj Kumar, a 31-year-old man from Sirsa, Haryana, was arrested on charges of duping a person of Rs3.30 lakh through a fraudulent online part-time job and investment scheme. The incident came to light when the complainant reported that Kumar had promised higher returns on investment in exchange for part-time job tasks, such as liking and sharing videos.

According to police reports, the accused had initially contacted the complainant through social media, offering a part-time job and assuring commission payments for video engagements. However, Kumar later convinced the victim to invest a sum of money for the job. After receiving the funds, Kumar cut off all communication and deleted the relevant social media groups.
