Two youths were arrested in separate incidents for consuming ganja in Goa, with both cases being filed under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
In the first case, Kavoor police arrested 28-year-old Manish, a local resident, after he was found consuming drugs in a public area near Bondel Krishna Nagar.
In a second case, 18-year-old Savinraj, a resident of TT Road, was arrested by Bunder police while in an intoxicated state on the road leading to the old port.
Both individuals were taken into custody and charged under the NDPS Act for their involvement in drug consumption.
