STARKVILLE, MS — A 19-year-old Tupelo man, Di’Quavious Gray, has been arrested in connection with a string of burglaries and a vehicle theft at Moreland Storage Units on Louisville Street.

According to the Starkville Police Department, officers responded to multiple burglary reports at the facility on July 1 and 2. Working closely with the storage unit’s management team and using footage from on-site security cameras, investigators swiftly identified Gray as the primary suspect.

Gray was apprehended and transported to the Oktibbeha County Jail, where he now faces nine charges:

Five counts of vehicle burglary

Three counts of commercial burglary

One count of motor vehicle theft

Police credited the facility’s security systems with playing a key role in the rapid resolution of the case.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have not ruled out additional charges.
