WATERBURY, Conn. — A Connecticut man has been arrested after Waterbury police seized thousands of bags of heroin and a loaded firearm during a search of his apartment.
Tremaine Days, 26, was arrested Friday after police executed a search and seizure warrant at his residence on Jewelry Street. Inside, officers found a significant quantity of illegal drugs, including 2,710 bags of heroin, 27 capsules of crack cocaine, and marijuana. Authorities also discovered $1,395 in cash and a loaded Smith & Wesson handgun.
Days is now facing multiple charges, including:
Operating a drug factory
Carrying a pistol without a permit
Possession of narcotics with the intent to sell
A judge has set bond for Days at $1 million.
Authorities revealed that Days has a criminal history as a convicted felon, with prior convictions related to both narcotics and firearms offenses.
