Teenager Cameron Finnigan, 19, has been sentenced to six years in prison, with an extended license period of three years, for encouraging girls to commit suicide and engaging in other criminal acts.
Finnigan, who was part of a neo-Nazi satanist group called 764, pleaded guilty to five charges. These included urging one girl to film her suicide for his satanist group, sharing it online, and possessing a document related to terrorism. He also faced charges of possessing indecent images of children and criminal damage. A satanic flag was discovered in his bedroom.
The court heard that Finnigan, who has autism, became involved with the extremist group in late 2023. He had been living with his adoptive parents and biological sister in Horsham, West Sussex, before his arrest.
His actions, which included online encouragement of self-harm, have shocked many, particularly given the serious nature of his links to a violent extremist organization.
