COOK COUNTY, Ill. — A 19-year-old man, Brian Smith, was arrested during a court-ordered eviction after authorities reported he threw a bag containing illegal firearms, ammunition, and $700 in cash out of a window. The Cook County Sheriff’s Office announced Smith’s arrest on Tuesday.

According to deputies, Smith locked himself in a bedroom when they arrived at his residence to carry out the eviction. He then threw the bag from the window, which contained handguns, ammunition, magazines, and the cash.
