Babar Khan and 6 Others Arrested for Theft of Laptops and Inverter

Stolen goods including laptops and inverter seized in Town PS operation

In a successful patrolling operation, police arrested seven miscreants and recovered stolen items including seven laptops, a power inverter, and a battery from their possession. The operation was carried out by Sadar Dy SP Raj Kishore Singh and his team on Monday night in the Town PS area.

During routine patrolling, a suspected individual was detained and identified as Babar Khan, son of Munna Khan, and a resident of Dahiyawan under Town PS. Upon interrogation, Babar Khan confessed to his involvement in the theft of a power inverter from a coaching institute. He also revealed that three other individuals — Md Habib alias Dewar, Nabi Hussain alias Munnu, and Md Mushtaq — were involved in the crime.

In addition to the power inverter, the group stole nine laptops and a battery from the institute. According to Babar’s statement, seven laptops and the battery were sold to different individuals.

The police have recovered the stolen items, and investigations are ongoing.
