Zachary Dickerson and Christina Sizemore Arrested in Separate Animal Cruelty Cases

Two arrested in Picayune for brutal animal abuse, both face charges

PICAYUNE, Miss. (WHLT) – Picayune police have arrested two individuals in connection to separate animal cruelty cases.

On May 2, authorities were alerted to an incident at a local convenience store where a man was seen abusing a dog. Surveillance footage revealed that Zachary Dickerson punched, kicked, and dragged an unconscious dog in the parking lot. Following the review of the video, a warrant was issued for Dickerson, and he was arrested on May 3. He now faces charges of aggravated animal cruelty.

In a separate case on May 5, police responded to a call on Telly Road where a dog had been killed. Upon investigation, officers discovered that Christina Sizemore had kicked and stomped on a small dog, causing its death from the injuries. Sizemore was arrested and charged with aggravated animal cruelty.

Both Dickerson and Sizemore are currently being held at the Pearl River County Jail.
