Byndoor police on Sunday arrested three individuals in connection with a house theft that took place on March 10 in Bappehaklu, Uppunda village. The incident occurred while the homeowner, Janardhana, was attending a Yakshagana performance. Upon returning at 1 a.m., he discovered that the doors of his house had been broken open and several valuables were missing.
The stolen items included gold and silver jewellery, cash, a laptop, and other personal belongings. Byndoor police promptly registered a case under Sections 331(1), 331(4), and 305 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
Acting on the case, a police team led by Inspector Savithru Tej PD, along with Sub-Inspectors Thimmesh BN and Naveen P Borkar, successfully traced and arrested the accused:

During the operation, police recovered stolen property valued at approximately Rs3 lakh, including gold jewellery, a laptop, and mobile phones used by the accused in the commission of the crime.
All three accused were produced before the court, and further investigations are ongoing to determine if they are involved in similar thefts in the region.
