TULSA, OK (WCIV) — A woman was arrested on Sunday for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from a Target store in Tulsa, according to police reports.
Officers responded to the Target on South Yale Avenue after employees confronted a known larceny suspect, Courtney Bryant. Investigators said Bryant left behind a shopping cart filled with nearly $900 worth of stolen items after being confronted by store security.
As Bryant attempted to leave the store, police intervened and brought her inside for questioning. Security personnel reviewed previous theft incidents, which led to the discovery that Bryant had stolen more than $2,000 worth of items in the past six months alone.
In total, detectives believe Bryant has stolen over $16,000 in merchandise from the store. Bryant was arrested and booked at the David L. Moss Correctional Center on grand larceny charges.
