WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Police have arrested Naira Amirah West, 21, of Willow Grove (Upper Moreland Township), after she allegedly committed two retail thefts on the same day involving bottles of tequila.

On Wednesday, October 8, around 4:50 p.m., officers were already at the Wine and Spirits store at 306 Easton Road when they observed West acting suspiciously while leaving the premises.

Moments later, the store manager informed officers that West had stolen merchandise. Police said she ran through the Creekview Shopping Center before being located and taken into custody.

A search of her bag revealed a 750ml bottle of Espolon Tequila Reposado valued at $33.99, as well as a citation issued by Horsham Police earlier that day at 2:00 p.m. for another retail theft involving a bottle of tequila.

West was transported to the Warrington Township Police Department, where she was processed and released pending further action.
