WILLISTON, N.D. (KUMV) – Police have arrested Jonna Stroh, a Williston woman, for stealing materials from her former employer.

Court documents reveal that Stroh repeatedly stole spools of copper wiring last summer, with the total value of her thefts estimated to be at least $1.4 million.

According to police, Stroh confessed to the thefts in October, explaining that she had stolen the material because she needed the money after becoming involved in a cryptocurrency scam.

Stroh is facing a charge of theft over $50,000. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 2.
