Victoria Elsenpeter Arrested for Embezzling $3,800 in Milton

Former clerk faces grand theft charges in Santa Rosa County

MILTON, Ala. (WKRG) — The Milton Police Department arrested Victoria Theda Elsenpeter, 58, on charges of grand theft after she allegedly embezzled $3,801.60 from the Santa Rosa County Clerk of Courts and Comptroller’s Office.

According to a news release from Milton Police, Elsenpeter committed the theft while employed as an accounting clerk at the office. She was taken into custody on a warrant related to the case.

Grand theft in this case is classified as a third-degree felony, which carries a possible prison sentence of up to five years and fines up to $5,000.

Authorities have not released further details about the investigation or Elsenpeter’s next court appearance.
