The Vadodara Taluka police arrested a man on Sunday in connection with the murder of 74-year-old lawyer Vitthal Pandit, who succumbed to injuries after allegedly being assaulted by the accused late Saturday night.
According to police reports, the accused claimed that Pandit had made indecent advances toward his wife, which led to a heated argument. Enraged by this, the accused allegedly attacked Pandit, leading to the lawyer’s death.
The police have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident. The accused is currently in custody as authorities probe the details of the altercation that led to the tragic murder of the elderly lawyer.
