According to the police, Santosh had met an accused named Aftab in Dubai, who promised him a seat to pursue an MPH degree in the UK for Rs 18 lakh. After the payment, Santosh was unable to contact the accused and grew suspicious, leading him to file a police complaint.

The police arrested the suspects and seized cash, a car, and other goods worth Rs 9.56 lakh from them. The investigation is ongoing, as authorities work to uncover the full extent of the fraud.
