A man has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of his cousin in Copiah County, Mississippi.
The incident occurred Tuesday on Rail Road Avenue in Georgetown, where deputies responded to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, authorities found a 46-year-old man deceased at the scene.
The suspect, identified as 23-year-old Tyrekennel Collins, was taken into custody and is currently being held at the Copiah County Detention Center.
Authorities have not yet disclosed a possible motive, and the investigation remains ongoing.
