Two Arrested for Stealing Policeman’s Bike in Front of Pondy Bazaar Police Station

Satish and Ramkumar Arrested After CCTV Footage Tracked Stolen Bike

Chennai police arrested two men, Satish from St. Thomas Mount and Ramkumar from Manapakkam, for stealing a policeman’s bike parked in front of the Pondy Bazaar police station on Monday.

The incident occurred on December 20, when Satish, a policeman at the Pondy Bazaar police station, parked his bike outside the station before going on his night rounds. The next day, Satish discovered his bike was missing. After receiving the complaint, the Pondy Bazaar police reviewed CCTV footage and identified the suspects.

The police team traced the stolen bike with the help of the footage, leading to the arrest of Satish and Ramkumar. The stolen bike was seized from them, and they were remanded in judicial custody after being produced before the magistrate court.
