Trudy Hamlin Arrested in Bowling Green Grocery Theft

Woman accused of stealing meat and soda valued at $6K

BOWLING GREEN, KY — A theft investigation led Bowling Green Police to arrest Trudy Michelle Hamlin, 64, following multiple incidents at a local grocery store.

Over a two-week period, officers investigated several thefts and determined that the same individual was responsible for all incidents.

Hamlin is accused of stealing 307 select cuts of meat and 40 containers of Pepsi and Diet Coke (12- and 24-packs). The total value of the stolen items amounts to $6,241.37 across eight confirmed thefts.

The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities indicate that additional charges may be considered as the case develops.
