Troy Walker Arrested in Springfield Drug and Gun Raid

Police Seize Meth, Cocaine, Guns, and Stolen ATV

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — A 29-year-old Springfield man, Troy Walker, is facing multiple charges following the seizure of methamphetamine, cocaine, illegal firearms, and a stolen ATV.

Police executed a search warrant at a residence on the 2400 block of Wilshire, assisted by the Central Illinois Enforcement Group (CIEG) and the Springfield Police Street Crimes Unit (SCU).

Items recovered during the operation included:

Four illegal firearms

U.S. currency

Approximately 642 grams of suspected methamphetamine

Approximately 8 grams of suspected cocaine

Approximately 15 grams of suspected crack cocaine

A stolen off-road vehicle

Walker was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, possession of a stolen firearm, serialization of unfinished firearm frames, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, and possession of stolen property.

Authorities say the investigation is ongoing.
