PLEASANTON, Texas — Two suspects wanted in connection with a $20,000 theft from a Hibbett Sports store in Pleasanton have been arrested in Houston, according to the Pleasanton Police Department.
Trey Tre Von Barefield, 26, and Killrain Jarod Randolph, 35, were apprehended Wednesday. Their arrests follow the earlier capture of two other suspects who were taken into custody last week after a standoff at a residence in Houston, where one of the suspects’ vehicles was found.
The robbery took place at approximately 4 a.m. on August 13 at the Hibbett Sports located on the 2000 block of West Oaklawn Road. Officers responding to the scene found that the store’s back panels had been cut open — an entry point for the suspects, who then stole nearly $20,000 in athletic merchandise.
Authorities identified a white van and a dark-colored sedan as vehicles used in the crime. The van was located at the Houston residence where the standoff occurred, ultimately leading to the arrests.
All four suspects are now in custody and facing charges related to organized retail theft and burglary.
The investigation remains ongoing.
