Peterborough, UK — Two men have been jailed after being caught dealing drugs in broad daylight by neighborhood police officers in the Millfield area.
Torgalai Estoman, 29, was spotted conducting a drug deal near his home on Bourges Boulevard at around 11:20 a.m. on October 7, 2024. Officers approached him and, upon further investigation, discovered a substantial quantity of Class A and B drugs, drug paraphernalia, and cash inside his nearby flat.
Inside the same flat, police also found Gulzaman Safizada, 25, of South Parade, West Town, who was arrested at the scene.
Both men appeared at Cambridge Crown Court on May 27, 2025, where they pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply crack cocaine, heroin, and cannabis.
Estoman was sentenced to 30 months in prison
Safizada received a 26-month sentence
Detective Constable John Pentney, who led the investigation, praised the vigilance of the patrolling officers:
“This was a great spot from our neighborhood officers who saw the drug deal in progress while responding to community concerns. Drug dealing and associated criminality can have a significant impact on the community.”
Authorities continue to urge the public to report any suspicious behavior or drug activity.
