TNHB Kavundampalayam Burglaries: Two UP Natives Arrested

Firyan and Dawood held in serial apartment burglaries

Coimbatore police have arrested two more individuals in connection with a series of burglaries at the Tamil Nadu Housing Board (TNHB) apartment complex in Kavundampalayam on November 28, 2025.

The arrested suspects, identified as Firyan (23) alias Burman and Dawood (18), were residing with 10 other individuals from Uttar Pradesh at a rented house in B.K. Pudur near Kuniyamuthur.

The police apprehended them late on Monday (December 1) as part of the ongoing investigation into the serial burglaries at the apartment complex. Authorities are continuing inquiries to determine the full extent of their involvement and connections to other crimes in the area.
