EAGLE SPRINGS, NC — A 25-year-old man from Eagle Springs is facing 20 felony charges in a child exploitation case.
Timothy Hair Jr. was arrested on May 16 after an undercover investigation led by the Moore County Sheriff’s Office and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (NCSBI).
The investigation started after a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). Authorities executed a search warrant at a home on Candor Road and gathered evidence during the search.
Hair is now charged with:
10 counts of Second-Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor
10 counts of Third-Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor
He is being held at the Moore County Detention Center on a $500,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on May 21.
The sheriff’s office said it remains committed to stopping online crimes against children and is an active part of the North Carolina Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
