DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — Three men from New Jersey have been arrested and charged with stealing nearly $30,000 worth of tools and merchandise from multiple Home Depot locations across Pennsylvania.

The incident unfolded on March 25, 2025, when officers from the Lower Paxton Bureau of Police responded to a call at the Home Depot located in the 5000 block of Jonestown Road. Upon arrival, officers observed the suspects—Jhon Cardona-Alviz, Juan Mancera, and Christian Sanchez—concealing over $2,600 worth of merchandise in a large tote trash can.

According to the police, the suspects were in communication with one another by phone while committing the theft. As they attempted to leave the store, police were able to stop them and place them under arrest.

The three men now face charges of criminal use of a communication facility, felony organized retail theft, retail theft, and conspiracy to commit retail theft.

The investigation revealed that the suspects were part of a larger operation that targeted multiple Home Depot stores across the region, stealing tools and merchandise with the intent to resell them.

This arrest highlights the growing issue of organized retail theft, a crime that continues to affect businesses and consumers alike. The trio is currently awaiting further legal proceedings in Dauphin County.
