In a major breakthrough, Thane police have arrested Shivaji Gopal Sante, allegedly responsible for 48 burglary cases in the Mumbra area over the past several years.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Amarsingh Jadhav stated that months of investigation led to Sante’s apprehension on March 2. Authorities recovered over one kilogram of stolen gold valued at approximately Rs 1.39 crore, simultaneously solving multiple burglary cases connected to him.
Sante’s arrest marks a significant step in curbing repeated criminal activities in the region and demonstrates the effectiveness of coordinated police efforts and sustained investigation.
