Ten Arrested in Flesh Trade Bust in Fazilka, Including Five Women

Police raid leads to the arrest of individuals involved in illegal trade activities

In a significant crackdown, Fazilka police have arrested ten individuals, including five women, for their involvement in running a flesh trade operation in the town. The police raided the residence of Saroj Rani, a woman from Radha Swami Colony, who was allegedly operating the illegal activity.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Saroj Rani, Rekha, Jaswinder Kaur alias Paramjeet Kaur, Asha Rani, Priyanka, Sonu, Pawan Kumar, Sunil Kumar, Gaurav, and Saurav. The accused have been charged under Sections 3, 4, 5, and 6 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act of 1956.

The police’s swift action and subsequent arrests highlight the ongoing efforts to combat illegal activities in the region. The investigation continues as authorities work to dismantle the flesh trade network operating in the area.
