IOWA FALLS, Iowa — A 54-year-old woman has been charged with theft for the fourth time in just four months after allegedly failing to ring up an item at a Hy-Vee self-checkout.

Police say that on July 29, officers responded to a theft report at the Iowa Falls store. Security footage from July 23 shows Tawnia Jean Jorgensen scanning items at the self-checkout, including a banana and a bag of grapes. The video reveals she scanned the banana twice but never scanned the grapes.

According to Officer Daniel Jeckell, the grapes are priced at $7.85 and bananas at 54 cents per pound. The receipt shows a total of $13.39, which means the grapes—priced at $7.85—were never purchased. The full total should have been $20.70.

Jorgensen has now been charged with theft in connection with this incident.
