CONCORD, NH — Stacey M. Young, 41, of Andover, is once again facing serious legal trouble following her arrest in Concord last month on multiple drug-related and driving charges.
Around 1 a.m. on July 18, a Concord police officer patrolling the McDonald’s on South Main Street noticed a Kia Optima with veteran plates in the drive-thru. The car was linked to previous drug-related incidents and registered to Young, who had an active arrest warrant and a suspended driver’s license.
After stopping the vehicle, the officer said Young initially gave a false name and birthdate. A DMV photo check confirmed her true identity. When asked to exit the vehicle, Young dropped her license on the ground, further confirming her identity to the officer.
Upon arrest, police searched Young’s purse and allegedly found methamphetamine. She was charged with felony possession of a controlled drug (subsequent offense), disobeying an officer, transporting drugs in a motor vehicle, driving after suspension, and vehicle registration suspension.
Young’s license had been suspended twice in the weeks prior—on June 11 and again on July 12—for failure to pay court fines.
Young has a history of run-ins with the law dating back to 2018. In June, she was reportedly found naked in a car with a man and drugs during another incident.
She was booked at Concord Police Headquarters and is expected to appear in court to face the new charges.
