In a shocking turn of events, a Special Police Officer (SPO) was arrested for alleged drug peddling in the Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. According to officials, a police team, while conducting a routine patrol in the area, intercepted a suspicious individual. When the suspect saw the police, he attempted to flee but was quickly apprehended.
Upon conducting a search, the authorities recovered heroin from the suspect’s possession. The arrested individual was identified as Michael Jackson, an SPO stationed at the District Police Lines in Udhampur.
A case has been registered against the accused at Udhampur Police Station, and further investigation is underway to determine the full extent of the drug trafficking operation and any potential links to a larger network.
