In a sweeping crackdown on narcotics, the Telangana Special Task Force (STF) conducted separate raids in Dhoolpet and Ameerpet, leading to the seizure of ganja and LSD and the arrest of multiple individuals.
In Dhoolpet, the STF ‘A’ Team, acting on a reliable tip-off, raided the residence of Sonia Bai and seized 1.162 kilograms of ganja reportedly being sold from the premises. Sonia Bai was arrested on the spot. However, Satishpal Singh alias Gidda Satish, another accused in the case, remains absconding.
In a parallel operation, the STF ‘B’ Team, led by CI and SI Balaraju, raided a site in Ameerpet and recovered 6 LSD blots and 2 LSD pills. Two individuals were taken into custody for possession and intent to distribute these psychotropic substances.
All arrested individuals and seized contraband have been handed over to the Ameerpet Excise Station for further legal action and investigation.
Officials emphasized that these coordinated operations are part of the STF’s ongoing mission to dismantle local drug networks across Hyderabad. Citizens are encouraged to report suspicious activities as authorities continue their drive to curb drug abuse and trafficking.
