The Afzalgunj Police Station crime team successfully apprehended a three-member inter-state gang involved in vehicle thefts and attempted house burglaries in Hyderabad. Acting on a complaint regarding a stolen Honda Shine motorcycle belonging to D Sachin Kumar, the team, led by SHO N Ravi, recovered the bike on November 21 and arrested the accused.
The arrested members were identified as Sikligar Kirtipal Sinh from Vadodara (Gujarat), and Surjeet Singh and Balvir Singh, both from Indore (Madhya Pradesh). During interrogation, they confessed to stealing the motorcycle and attempting burglaries within the Sultan Bazaar and Narayanguda police jurisdictions.
Police revealed that the trio intended to use the stolen bike to commute while committing further offences. Items recovered from them include improvised keys made from scissors, mobile phones, gloves, a knife, and other burglary tools.
