Seven individuals were arrested for their involvement in a burglary at a hotelier’s residence in Mettukulam village near Katpadi, Vellore.
The police identified the accused as P. Tygarajan (35), K. Venkatesh (36), E. Satish (30), A. Saravanan (23), E. Bharathi (36), S. Gopi (39), and M. Pushparaj (27), all hailing from Vellore and nearby areas.
During the investigation, authorities recovered 40 sovereigns of gold jewellery along with several silver items from the gang, marking a significant breakthrough in the case.
The police continue to probe further details related to the burglary and the accused’s activities.
