A Sempronius man has been arrested after allegedly shooting and killing his girlfriend’s pet pig during a domestic dispute.

Incident Details
Authorities say Norman Dewitt, 28, removed security cameras from the home before shooting the pig, while a 15-year-old girl was present.

Dewitt was taken into custody and charged with:

Endangering the Welfare of a Child
Torturing or Injuring an Animal (Under New York State Agriculture and Markets Law)
Legal Proceedings
Dewitt has been jailed, and the case remains under investigation.
