Scottsboro Police Arrest Lonnie Walters Jr. & Two for Meth Trafficking

Three charged after methamphetamine found in traffic stop

On Saturday, Scottsboro police officers conducted a traffic stop on Veterans Drive, leading to the arrest of three passengers. During the investigation, officers discovered 101 grams of methamphetamine along with various drug paraphernalia.

Lonnie Ray Walters, Jr., 51, from Henagar, faced charges including Drug Trafficking, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Obstructing Governmental Operations, and Resisting Arrest.

Mary Ann Mavoureen Kelley, 40, and Kerry Dewaun Sartin, 47, both from Dutton, were charged with Drug Trafficking, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Obstructing Governmental Operations.

All three were initially taken to Scottsboro City Jail before being transferred to Jackson County Jail to face felony charges.
