AUBURN, N.Y. —
A man previously banned from all Kinney Drugs stores has been arrested after allegedly stealing from the pharmacy chain’s State Street location earlier this week.

According to the Auburn Police Department, Scott A. Meyer entered the Kinney Drugs at 187 State Street on October 10 and took about $55 worth of merchandise. Officers later confirmed that Meyer had been formally trespassed from all Kinney stores prior to the incident.

Meyer was arrested on October 13 and charged with petit larceny and third-degree burglary under New York State Penal Law.

Following his arrest, Meyer was processed and booked into the Cayuga County Jail, where he remains pending arraignment.

Police say the arrest stemmed from a shoplifting report that led officers to identify Meyer as the suspect through an on-site investigation.
