Jamshedpur police have arrested two more accused in the murder of Tauqeer alias Hora in the Kadma police station area, intensifying the ongoing investigation.
The newly arrested suspects are:
Saddab Khan alias Billi (27) of Old Purulia Road No. 8
Shubham Kumar (25) of Shastrinagar, Kadma
Police recovered a country-made pistol and magazine from their possession.
City SP Kumar Shivashish stated that the accused were traced to the BH Area of Bistupur, and a special police team apprehended them during a swift raid. During interrogation, they confessed to their involvement and revealed critical details regarding the crime.
Earlier, Ayan alias Masood Iqbal had been arrested within six hours of the incident for his involvement in the firing at the scene. The main accused, Saddab Khan, reportedly has six prior cases in different police stations across the city.
Police reports indicate that Hora had been intimidating the accused for a long period, even firing in the air to threaten them. On the day of the murder, the accused, reportedly under the influence of drugs, executed the attack on Hora.
Both newly arrested accused have been remanded to jail, and police continue to investigate to identify any further links to the case.
