SAN ANTONIO — Ryan Patrick England, 39, a former elementary school teacher with the Judson Independent School District, has been sentenced to 60 years in prison for the continuous sexual abuse of multiple children.
Convicted by a Bexar County jury in April, England faced allegations involving at least five elementary school students. Several victims were present at the sentencing hearing on Thursday, highlighting the long-lasting impact of the abuse.
Judge Ron Rangel ruled that England must serve the full sentence without the possibility of parole, meaning he will remain in prison until he is 99 years old before being eligible for release.
England’s legal troubles began in March 2020 when he was arrested and charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child. Further investigations resulted in additional charges, culminating in the continuous sexual abuse conviction in 2022.
Judson ISD confirmed that England was employed as a teacher prior to his arrest and has had no association with the district since then.
