Richard Holland Jr. Arrested in Baltimore Shooting Case

Baltimore man charged with attempted murder

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — A Baltimore man has been arrested in connection with an October shooting.

Richard Holland Jr., 24, was taken into custody by detectives on Nov. 30 near East North Avenue and Maryland Avenue. The arrest is linked to a shooting that occurred on Oct. 27.

Police reported that at approximately 2:05 a.m. on that day, officers were called to a local hospital after a walk-in victim, a 31-year-old man, suffered a gunshot wound. The victim is currently recovering. Investigators determined that the shooting occurred in the unit block of East North Avenue.

Holland has been charged with attempted first-degree murder and is being held at the Central Booking Intake Facility.
