In a swift action, Saran Police arrested six miscreants and solved a loot case within six hours of the incident. The police successfully recovered a looted pickup van, a cellphone, and three cattle.
On Sunday, Saran SP Kumar Ashish reported that the Garkha PS had received a complaint from Mohammad Murtaza, a resident of Patera, under Khaira PS. Murtaza claimed that while he was traveling with his three cattle in a pickup van from Garha, he was detained by six unidentified individuals near Sargatti under Garkha PS on Saturday night. The suspects allegedly took the pickup van, cattle, and Murtaza’s cellphone by force and fled.
Following the complaint, an FIR was lodged, and an investigation was initiated. Within hours, police tracked down the six miscreants, recovering the stolen cattle, pickup van, and cellphone.
The arrested individuals were identified as Akshay Kumar, a resident of Raipura under Bheldi PS, Vikky Kumar of Akhtiyarpur, Bittu Kumar of Aloni, Sonu of Sargatti, Rakesh of Motirajpur, and Raja of Aloni. According to police records, all the suspects are notorious criminals with a history of criminal activity.
