A Pittsburgh man, Cornelius P. Tucker, 33, was arrested and charged with more than 200 counts of felony identity theft and related offenses after allegedly using the identities of hundreds of victims to make over $100,000 in online purchases.

According to the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, Tucker placed numerous orders for power tools, home security equipment, and other products from Lowe’s and Giant Eagle stores. He then sold the stolen merchandise through his Facebook page, “Pittsburgh Stamps.”

Tucker collected items from stores across several counties, including Allegheny, Beaver, Crawford, Washington, and Westmoreland.

“This arrest is the result of a meticulous investigation by our Organized Retail Crime Unit and collaborative partners dedicated to stopping these sophisticated schemes,” Attorney General Dave Sunday said.

Tucker was apprehended on July 3 after investigators located him following an extensive manhunt.
