CINCINNATI, OH — An Ohio mother of four, Dominique Knowles, was sentenced to house arrest after leaving three of her children at home alone while she traveled to Florida with her youngest child. Knowles, 31, was found guilty of endangering children after authorities discovered that her 10-year-old child and twin 7-year-olds had been left to fend for themselves for three days.

The alarming situation came to light when a teacher, concerned about the children’s well-being, alerted police. Authorities responded and found the children alone at the home, prompting the charges.

In court, Knowles was sentenced to house arrest for the incident. The case highlights the serious concerns of child welfare and the importance of responsible parenting. Knowles’ actions sparked discussions about parental duties and the safety of children in the absence of adult supervision.
