Milton, NY – Kevin Kratchel, 56, of Milton, has been charged with grand larceny in the third degree after authorities investigated a fraud complaint filed on April 21, 2025. The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office arrested Kratchel on Wednesday for allegedly stealing property worth over $3,000.

According to investigators, Kratchel used another individual’s credit card to purchase items for himself from an online retailer.

Kratchel was arraigned in the Milton Town Court and released on his own recognizance, as the charge does not qualify for bail under New York state law, which was revised in January 2020.

The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
